Fred Fazio Memorial Scholarship

A scholarship is awarded each year in the name of past member Fred Fazio. This scholarship represents recognition of the hard work of a member young relative that are graduating high school and have been accepted to an accredited college or university.

Qualifications for the scolarship include:

applicant must be in high scholl during the current school year and have been accepted to an accredited college or university
applicant must be the sond, daughter, grandchild, niece or nephew of a member of the MRA who is either an honorary, annual, paid up, life or deceased member
applicant must include a copy of their Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and high school transcript.

The scholarship award is based on a points system that include the following criteria:

application high school Grade Point Average (GPA) multiplied by 100 plus
applicant SA score plus
15 points added if applicant is child, or 10 points if applicant is a grandchild, or 5 points if applicant is a niece or nephew plus
15 points added applicant has volunteered time on behalf of the MRA plus
10 added if the applicant is a member of the MRA Juniors Shooing brogrram
