The Massachusetts Rifle Association
had five members of the club at the PSA Shootout. We also had one of our
frequent guest from New Hampshire
join us this year. This is a fast-paced steel match with from 28 to 29 steel
knockdown targets per stage. The shooter must engage each target with enough
bullets to knock over each target. A maximum of ten rounds allowed in a
magazine meaning that smooth reloading is a must.
The fifth annual PSA shootout had 350 entrants this year that means if no
one missed some 63,000 rounds went down range If you ever have a chance to
attend this match it will be one of the most enjoyable well-run matches you
can shoot.
