Fred Fazio Memorial Scholarship

A scholarship is awarded each year in the name of past member Fred Fazio. This scholarship represents recognition of the hard work of a member young relative that are graduating high school and have been accepted to an accredited college or university.

Qualifications for the scolarship include:

• applicant must be in high scholl during the current school year and have been accepted to an accredited college or university
• applicant must be the son, daughter, grandchild, niece or nephew of a member of the MRA who is either an honorary, annual, paid up, life or deceased member
• applicant must include a copy of their Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and high school transcript.

The scholarship award is based on a points system that include the following criteria:

• application high school Grade Point Average (GPA) multiplied by 100 plus
• applicant SA score plus
• 15 points added if applicant is child, or 10 points if applicant is a grandchild, or 5 points if applicant is a niece or nephew plus
• 15 points added applicant has volunteered time on behalf of the MRA plus
• 10 added if the applicant is a member of the MRA Juniors Shooing brogrram
